SME Education Foundation Grants

Due to limited funding, the SME Education Foundation is only accepting grant applications from schools applying for PLTW CIM upgrade funding.  If you have questions about future funding availability, other than a PLTW CIM upgrade, please contact foundation@sme.org.

Youth Program Grants

The SME Education Foundation is committed to building the future manufacturing workforce in North America to compete in the 21st century global economy. Our strategy is to expose students to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in order to make an informed decision about pursuing a career in these disciplines. The Foundation's goal is to create a pathway that will offer students information and awareness beginning in elementary school through middle and high school leading into post secondary options. We place particular emphasis on involving women and minority students; two groups industry and the profession have recognized as largely untapped pools of talent.
