PRIME Schools in Pennsylvania

Indiana County Technology Center (ICTC), Indiana, PA will begin its PRIME designation in the 2016-17 academic year.

The Machining Technology program at the ICTC provides students with the technological skills needed for entry in metalworking occupations. Students enrolled in the program gain experience with the hands-on operation of standard machine tools such as drill presses, metal saws, lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.

“Indiana County Technology Center is making a significant impact on the manufacturing community by producing talented students who will pursue an advanced manufacturing education or move right into a career in this industry,” said Josh Cramer, senior educational program officer, SME Education Foundation. “Schools like ICTC are helping to build a pipeline of young men and women who are passionate about American industrial ingenuity.”
