SME Winner's Circle - 2007 Joseph F. Novek Award
This award was established in 2003 as the result of a gift from the family of the Joseph F. Novek, a long time member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Mr. Novek owned several businesses in the Rochester, New York area. He was a long time donor to the Foundation. His widow, Sally, and two of his nieces have established the fund. Mr. Novek valued leadership, service, perseverance and entrepreneurship. His family wanted to honor him by recognizing a student who exhibited these qualities in his or her academic and professional life.
