Available Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors

    2014-2015 Chapter 311 - Tri-Cities Scholarship

    In 2007 the executive committee of the Tri City Chapter 311 authorized the creation of an endowment with the SME Education Foundation in support of Scholarships.  This generous gift has been established to promote higher education in the state of Michigan.

    2014-2015 Chapter 4 - Lawrence A. Wacker Memorial Scholarship

    The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Milwaukee Chapter 4, through the SME Education Foundation, will support two scholarships; one scholarship will be granted to a graduating high school senior, and the other will be granted to a current undergraduate student. Students must be enrolled in or accepted to a degree program in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering at a college or university in the state of Wisconsin. All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.

    2014-2015 Chapter 52 - Wichita Scholarship

    The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Wichita Chapter 52 Endowment Fund, through the SME Education Foundation, will support one scholarship. Applicants must be seeking an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, engineering technology, or industrial technology.

    2014-2015 Chapter 56 - Ft. Wayne Scholarship

    The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Fort Wayne Chapter 56 Scholarship Fund, through the SME Education Foundation, will support four scholarships. Applicants must be seeking an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, engineering technology, or industrial technology.

    2014-2015 Chapter 6 - Fairfield County Scholarship

    On September 18, 1974 the Executive Committee of SME Chapter 6 Fairfield County, Bridgeport, Connecticut approved a $150 donation to endow a scholarship at the SME Education Foundation. This endowment has been added to and grown to produce several thousand dollars of scholarships annually.

    2014-2015 Chapter 63 - Morrow Scholarship

    The James E. Morrow Scholarship was established by the family, friends, and members of Portland Chapter #063 for anyone pursuing a career in a manufacturing or any related engineering field through an institution of high learning. The Executive Committee of Portland Chapter 63 has authorized the creation of an endowment with the SME Education Foundation to support scholarships. This generous gift has been established to promote higher education in the local area.

    2014-2015 Chapter 63 - Smith Memorial Scholarship

    The Uncle Bud Smith Memorial Scholarship was established by the family, friends, and members of Portland Chapter #063 for the benefit of any member or first blood relative and/or a legal dependent family member of a current participating SME Chapter 63, who is pursuing a career through an institution of higher learning in any field of study. The Executive Committee of Portland Chapter 63 has authorized the creation of an endowment with the SME Education Foundation to support scholarships. This generous gift has been established to promote higher education in the local area.

    2014-2015 Chapter 67 - Phoenix Scholarship

    The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Phoenix Chapter 67 Scholarship and Advised Fund, through the SME Education Foundation, will support one high school senior who plans on enrolling in a manufacturing program technology, manufacturing technology, or current undergraduate students enrolled in a manufacturing engineering technology, manufacturing technology, industrial technology or closely related program at an accredited college or university in Arizona. 

    2014-2015 Chapter 77 - Denver Scholarship

    The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Chapter 77 Denver scholarship fund, through the SME Education Foundation, will support one scholarship. Applicants must be seeking an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, or a closely related field of study.

    The Executive Committee of Albuquerque Chapter 93 has authorized the creation of an endowment with the SME Education Foundation to support scholarships. This generous gift has been established to promote higher education in the local area.
