Six high schools from the metro Detroit area brought 174 enthusiastic young minds to RAPID + TCT May 20-23 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan where the entire additive manufacturing community convened and where industry-accelerating products were launched.
Julian Rogers earned a 2014 E. Wayne Kay Scholarship with his determination and drive to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree. Today, he’s applying his engineering skills to his work with drone company Insitu.
The Student Summit Event Series at HOUSTEX 2019 was a success with 216 high school students attending the one-day event. Students participated in hands-on challenges and learned about manufacturing career pathways during tours of industry, and collegiate exhibits.
