Scholarship Opportunities

One application gives graduating high school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students access to nearly 60 different scholarships. Register now to be notified when our application becomes available in November.

The SME Education Foundation annually awards millions of dollars in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students pursuing two-year, four-year or advanced degrees in manufacturing or engineering.

PLEASE NOTE:  Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic the SME Education Foundation offices are temporarily closed, but the Foundation staff and Scholarship Committee are working from home to evaluate your scholarship application.  Selection of scholarship awards has been delayed from mid-April to early June, we anticipate that notices will go out to applicants by mid-June, with check disbursements made to the colleges and universities by late July.  Because of the delayed schedule, the acceptance period for accepting awards will be shortened to one week.  Please monitor your emails in June for a notification in case your application is selected for an award.
