Sustainability Funding

Fully developed SME PRIME schools receive annual funding to ensure they have the resources they need to sustain and grow their respective SME PRIME programs.
Administration

Administration

SME PRIME program development is coordinated and administered by Foundation staff, many of whom are former educators, who work with school leaders and community manufacturers to assess local workforce needs, identify applicable advanced manufacturing pathways, construct the plan of curriculum, and deliver program resources. The SME PRIME program management team enables SME PRIME teachers to focus on what they do best – TEACH. This makes the program a turn-key solution for schools that desire to develop a local manufacturing talent pipeline.

Funding

SME PRIME programs can be funded by:

  • Local manufacturers
  • Public sector dollars
  • Schools (self-funded)

In the case of local manufacturers and public sector dollars, the cost is absorbed by the SME Education Foundation through fundraising efforts.
