COVID-19 Campaign

Help fund career and technical education in the time of Coronavirus.

In the wake of coronavirus, school closings and “stay at home” mandates have upended the educational experience for high school students across the country. High schools were caught off guard, and their online learning budgets can’t keep up with demand.

In response, the SME Education Foundation is taking action to ensure that distance-learning opportunities become available for thousands of career and technical education (CTE) students across the country.

You and your company can help

We’ve partnered with Tooling U-SME to provide online learning opportunities to high school students in twelve manufacturing disciplines, including additive manufacturing, mechatronics and smart manufacturing among others. By donating to the SME Education Foundation’s COVID-19 Campaign, you can help the Foundation reach its goal of raising $250,000 to provide at least 2,500 students with online manufacturing education from Tooling U-SME.

Make a difference today: support the continuing development of manufacturing and engineering talent by donating to our COVID-19 Campaign!
